Announcing [in the printed portion] the death, on 7 April 1800, of Christoph Gottlob Breitkopf, "meines Handlungsgesellschafters und besten Freundes," saying that there will be no change in the business as a result of Breitkopf's death, that he will become sole owner of all the branches of the business, that he has been named the sole heir of Breitkopf's estate, etc.; the document is signed both "G. C. Härtel" and "Breitkopf & Härtel." In the autograph postscript, Härtel tells Schlesinger that he does not need to pay anything in addition on Norberg's bill of exchange, and further discusses Norberg's account.
